Direwolves or Dragons? (x)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 Deleted Scene
What the hell were they thinking when the deleted this scene
The footage of Harry zipping up Ginny’s dress was far more important duh
“And Harry, with the unerring skill of the Seeker, caught the wand in his free hand as Voldemort fell backward, arms splayed, the slit pupils of the scarlet eyes rolling upward. Tom Riddle hit the floor with a mundane finality, his body feeble and shrunken, the white hands empty, the snakelike face vacant and unknowing. Voldemort was dead.”
You see, this is how it should have been. I wish that this wasn’t just a behind-the-scene photo. I wish that it had happened like this. Exactly like in the book. Voldemort died like anyone else. And it’s amazing how in the book, J.K. Rowling actually used his name. He was humanized in death. And I wish that they had shown that, instead of showing him do an imitation of the Corpse Bride:
Because it’s really important:
Tom Riddle was humanized in death.
Ch8 | The Wedding
"Harry felt drained, empty. Never once, in six years, had Dumbledore told Harry that they had both lived and lost loved ones in Godric’s Hollow. Why? Were Lily and James buried close to Dumbledore’s mother and sister? Had Dumbledore visited their graves, perhaps walked past Lily’s and James’s to do so? And he had never once told Harry…never bothered to say…"
I solemnly swear that I am up to no good

I love how obvious the difference is between the Rich Brook one (and a bit the touristy one) and the others. Moriarty playing Moriarty moves slow, even when he’s getting hit. He moves slowly and calmly and perfectly studied. He doesn’t run, he saunters. He’s extremely relaxed and at ease and it all gives off such a vibe of in-your-face confidence.
And then there’s Rich Brook and his flaily arms an his scrabbling legs.
